Our experienced instructors are not just experts in dance, but also in teaching. They know how to bring out the best in each student and help them reach their full potential.
Dance with Me classes allow our youngest dancers (18 months to 3 years) to acclimate to class with a caregiver present. Typically this class runs as a mini session and transitions dancers to an independent Baby Bop class.
For 2 and 3 year old students we offer 'Baby Bop'. Your dancer will develop coordination, motor skills, and classroom behavioral skills. These classes include an introduction to basic ballet, song & dance routines, and basic acrobatic skills.
Tot classes are for 3.5-4.5 year old dancers. The "Tot" level is intended to bridge from Baby Bop to PreK for those children who are "older 3s" or maybe 4 year olds who are new to dance or independent experiences. Tots may take Combo (ballet/jazz), tap and/or "Tot Hop & Tumble" for an increased focus on musicality and coordination. Tot classes last 30-45 minutes.
For 4.5-5.5 year old, we offer classes that engage in fun, imaginative activities designed to develop motor skills, coordination, musicality, and confidence. They may take Combo (ballet/jazz), "Hip Hop & Acro" and/or PK Tap. Each class is 30-45 minutes long.
Because of increased coordination, retention abilities, and attention span, children in Kindergarten and up may choose to take ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop , lyrical and/or acrobatics. Subjects offered may vary based on interest level.
At this level, we will use a variety of age-appropriate methods to introduce proper dance techniques and terminology. Each class will meet once a week for 45 minutes. We make a sincere effort to "stack" classes for scheduling convenience.
Based on the amount of interest, we offer adult classes in ballet, tap, or jazz. We may also offer exercise-based classes, such as Pilates and Yoga. New classes will be offered based on interest, so we welcome your suggestions. No previous dance experience is necessary; we ask only that you have fun and be willing to try new things.
